I firmly believe that the best way to manage one’s life is to set goals. This is why I define with all my clients a clear strategy where together we will set out to create the short to long-term goals, the goals that will build your confidence and truly expose all you are capable of!

Goals setting is an on going process and often a process where you will learn more about what you are made of and what is important to you. This is a time to have a coach along side of you for these goals, whether it’s a weight loss goal, a faster time at the race or a “mountain” you want to climb, as your trainer and coach, you will not be trying to figure it out on your own.

What is something you have always wanted to do but haven’t attempted due to physical limitations or fears of the unknown…

How do you see yourself in 5, 10 15 years if you stay at your current activity level…

Do you finish each day excited about what you were able to accomplish and looking forward to the energy you will have for the next day…

Weight Management

Where does your perception of the weight you “need” to loose come from, is it based how you feel when you look in the mirror, is it based on your doctors input, or is the need to lose weight been an ongoing challenge for you for so long now its habit to say you need to loose weight.

As an “A.C.E” certified Health Coach, we will gather the above information and build a lifestyle that gives you the long-term success you desire. There are more details to eat less-move more that you will learn about…like what is your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR), how do we improve it, and can that only be done with exercise.

We will create your current RMR profile and get down to fine tuning the how to get the “need to loose…pounds” concern off your mind and focus on all that you are capable of!

Constitution & Endurance

We have seen the posters that tell us we need to work in a certain heart rate zone to accomplish “fat burning”, “cardio training”, and the “power” zone! This is all good, but have you had an accurate calculation on where your heart rate zones are for results of the training zones…there are a variety of methods to suite each individual that will answer the question, Uthrive will provide the service to make each workout count!.

As your physiology is changing and you are looking for a new level of fitness, Uthrive will formulate a training plan that will take you the “Start line” with the coaching to take you to the “Finish line” in the event of your choice!

As an NCCP Triathlon coach, and years of training and racing for fun Tammy will provide the coaching with experience that will accommodate your triathlon, 5km, 10 km or Half marathon/marathon distance run event. To race smart there is a bit more to the training than just lots of running!

Muscle Training

We will train at my private fitness studio, which offers a distraction free environment that is there just for you.

I pay particular attention to your posture and technique to insure your strength building is most effective with out injury. Once the foundation is there we will progress you to adding resistance using a variety of tools, (including the best one on the market and that is your body!). As your goals and ambitions change so will what we create to keep you strength training diverse with long-term function and health in mind!
